Dedicated to Improving Veterinary Training & Animal Welfare Worldwide
Through our teaching projects, we aim to make a real and genuine difference to animal welfare in the countries that need it most.
Welcome to VetProjects International! We are an Australian-based social enterprise run by a talented team of vets and nurses dedicated to providing you an opportunity to develop your practical skills and confidence. Our training is largely based on building your surgery and anaesthetics skill whilst having a positive impact on the people and animals we operate in.
Since starting in 2015, we have continued to develop our practical, hands-on approach to teaching and are positive you’ll complete the program inspired and feeling positive about starting your career.
Furthermore, we believe that our approach to improving animal welfare is practical, sustainable and will allow us to have a genuine impact well into the future. Our team of experienced vets and vet nurses are enthusiastic and passionate about our upcoming projects.
So, get on board, improve your skills and help us make a real difference to the lives of animals and communities worldwide!

Improving stray animal conditions also benefits the local communities we work in and helps foster a happier and closer human-animal bond.
We work in small groups to help up-skill and mentor you through a key time in your veterinary development.

“Basically I just wanted to thank you again for such an amazing experience in Thailand and for all the help and support you showed me while I was out there… I am back to being excited about being a vet and realised that quite often, when asked, I would go back to Thailand as to my reason why. I genuinely think your programme and the support you personally showed me is one of the reasons I have made it through this year of vet school. So yeah, thank you!” Lucy, UK Graduate
